  • I'm driving from several hours away . Can you recommend a motel ?
    If driving from far I would suggest driving down the day before and spending the night in Baxley. The Sleep Inn here is American owned by locals and has a nice breakfast . This is the only place I would personally stay at. Also if you give them my business name they will give you a discount . The only negative is they do not allow pets so that could be an issue if your traveling with a pet. There are other towns 30 min to 1 hour away that have motels also. Vidalia, Jesup, Blackshear , and Waycross ga. If your camping there are several places around in the area also. There are some out near Hatch Nuclear Power plant which is a 15 minute drive.
  • Can you recommend a good restaurant ?
    There are several places to eat in Baxley. A couple of good ones for breakfast would be : Hometown Diner B&F Restaurant and Huddle House. Lunch and supper : K&L Barbeque Barbara Dean's Sarah's in the City Captain Joe's seafood and various fast food places : Zaxby's, Dairy Queen , McDonald's , Hardee's , etc
